Assange a free man: Sweden DROPS rape investigation against WikiLeaks founder after US said arresting him was a 'priority'

‘Sweden has decided to drop its investigation in to rape allegations made against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, it has emerged.
The announcement was made by Sweden’s Director of Public Prosecution, Marianne Ny this morning.
Investigators had today been expected to reveal whether they would lift a Europe-wide arrest warrant against him in a seven-year-old case.
The 45-year-old Australian denies the 2010 allegations which he fears will see him extradited to the United States and tried over the leaking of hundreds of thousands of secret US military and diplomatic documents.’
